Fund Manager

Anup has been working with DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. (previously called DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers) since July 1997, and has been managing the domestic funds since May 2001. Anup was CIO at HSBC Asset Management between Dec 2005 and May 2006 before returning to DSP BlackRock Investment Managers. Between 1997 and 2000, Anup also managed an offshore fund, the Merrill Lynch India Fund which was registered in Mauritius and sold to Merrill Lynch's clientele outside India. Prior to joining DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd., he worked with Chescor, a British fund management firm that managed three offshore funds investing into Indian equities. Anup obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Bombay University, in 1991 followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, in 1993. In May 2005, the "Top Fund Managers of India" survey conducted by Business Today and Mutualfundsindia.com, featured Anup amongst the top equity fund managers in the country.

Fund Manager

Apoorva Shah joined DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. (previously called DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers) in April 2006. He previously held senior positions in the Global Private Client and Institutional Equity Sales divisions of DSP Merrill Lynch Ltd. Apoorva has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, and brings with him over 24 years of experience in banking and investment.

Apoorva is currently the fund manager for the following schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.

Dhawal Dalal joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 1996 after receiving his MBA from the University of Dallas. He worked with the Merrill Lynch Private Client Fixed Income Division for approximately a year. He later joined Money Market Desk of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. He returned to India in 1998 to join the Fixed Income Desk of DSP BlackRock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. (previously called DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers).

Dhawal brings with him a total work experience of 14 years and is currently the fund manager for the following schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.

Harsha joined DSP BlackRock Investment Managers in July 2011. He has a cumulative work experience of over 16 years in the areas of Fund Management, Equity Research and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining DSPBRIM, he was a fund manager with UTI AMC for about 5 years between 2006 and 2011. In his earlier assignments, he gained considerable experience on Indian equity markets working as a research analyst tracking various industry sectors in local and foreign broking houses.

Harsha was recognized as India's Best Fund Manager (Runner–up) in Equity category by Outlook Money Awards in 2010.

Harsha is an engineering graduate (B.E) from NIT, Karnataka (1993), and a post-graduate in management (PGDM) from IIM, Lucknow (1996). He also holds a CFA charter conferred by the CFA Institute, USA.

Kushal joined DSP BlackRock in August 2010. Prior to that, Kushal was Managing Director with Athilon, NY, where he was responsible for structuring and managing portfolio of high grade corporate debt and credit derivatives. Before Athilon, Kushal was Vice President with Goldman Sachs Asset Management(GSAM), NY, where he was instrumental for developing fixed income trading and risk analytics.

Kushal holds MS in Computational Finance and MS in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and BE in Civil Engineering. He is also a CFA charter holder.

Kushal brings with him a total work experience of 11 years and is currently the fund manager for the following schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.

Fund Manager

Laukik is Fund Manager with the Fixed Income Investment team of DSP BlackRock Investment managers. He joined the firm in November 2007 as a Fixed Income Dealer. From November 2003 to October 2007, Laukik worked with Derivium Capital & Securities Pvt. Ltd. as the Head of Fixed Income Trading – SLR & NONSLR Broking. From June 2000 to October 2003, he worked with Birla Sunlife Securities Ltd. as a Manager – SLR & NONSLR Broking.

He brings with him a total work experience of 10 years in debt broking and is currently the fund manager for the following schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.

Mehul Jani is an Analyst who joined DSP BlackRock Investment Managers in October 2008, as an Analyst in the firm's equity investment team. Mehul was previously with Morgan Stanley Plc, London (2004 to 2008) as an Associate working with structured product valuations and fund derivatives. Mehul has an M.Sc in Banking and International Finance and is a CFA charter holder. Mehul currently has 7 years of cumulative experience in the industry.

Mehul is currently the Fund Manager for the following schemes of DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund.

Rohit is a Research Analyst focusing on sectots like Auto, Auto Ancillaries, Metals, Infrastructure, Sugar and Hotels.

Rohit joined DSP BlackRock Investment Managers in September 2005, as Portfolio Analyst for the firm's Portfolio Management Services (PMS) division, which manages discretionary accounts and provides advisory services to institutional clients. He was transferred to the Institutional Equities Team of DSP BlackRock Investment Managers in June 2009.

Previously, he was with HDFC Securities Limited as a part of its Institutional Equities Research Desk. He spent 13 months at HDFC Securities as Sr. Equity Analyst.

Vinit is a Research Analyst focusing on sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Power Utilities, Chemicals, Fertilizers and Textiles.

Vinit Sambre joined DSPBRIM in July 2007, as Portfolio Analyst for the firm's Portfolio Management Services (PMS) division, which manages discretionary accounts and provides advisory services to institutional clients.

Previously, he was with DSP Merrill Lynch as a part of its Global Private Client business. He spent 20 months at DSP Merrill Lynch as Equity Strategist. Prior to DSP Merrill Lynch, he was employed with IL&FS Investsmart Limited as an Equity Analyst in their PMS division. Prior to that, he has worked with UTI Investment Advisory Services as Equity Analyst for the offshore fund – India Growth Fund. Vinit is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (Nov'1997).

Fund Manager

Vivek joined DSP BlackRock Investment Managers during its early days in 1997 as a Manager with the firm’s Marketing Division. In 2006 he joined the Fixed Income Investment team as an Assistant Vice President. Vivek has about four years of work experience with fixed income trading desk and has been managing the DSP BlackRock Treasury Bill Fund along with Dhawal Dalal since March 2011.
